New data cabling, ready for the furniture
How Wave C replaced an office's entire data cabling with CAT6A, linked the office to the company's other locations and finished everything in time for the delivery of the new furniture.
The Challenge
A client wanted to completely refurbish their office, including new furniture. The existing data cabling was outdated and needed replacing, extra power outlets were required, and the office had to be connected to the other offices the company was already renting. On top of that, everything had to be ready before the new furniture was delivered.
The Solution
Wave C first discussed the project in detail with the client and checked everything with the building manager. Once approved, the old data cabling was fully removed and replaced with higher-performance CAT6A cabling: from the UTP patch panel to the UTP outlets in both existing and new skirting trunking.
Wave C also carried out minor electrical work, such as adding power outlets for the network cabinet, the dishwasher and the Quooker. Finally, the office was linked to the company's other offices over a LAN connection.
The Result
Wave C treated the project as a priority, so everything was ready in time for the delivery of the new furniture. The client now has a future-proof CAT6A infrastructure and a single network across all of its offices.
